Business for Creatives is an 8 week program that will help you sell your art and share your joy of creating, so you can find more time to create.
Streamlining where I spend my time and realizing what I enjoy doing most has led to thousands of customers and students around the world, press on Oprah.com, five books on Amazon, eighteen online classes, opportunities to teach in-person, sales in galleries and shops, and, most importantly, I have built a lifestyle I love that allows me to travel, paint and share my passion with others.
I’ll give you concrete ways to use social media to market your work, take better photos, build a following, grow your newsletter list, launch a successful online shop, get published, sell originals and prints and so much more.
In this online art class, you’ll learn lessons that will help you overcome creative blocks and develop your own unique style.
I share my frustrations, mistakes and the tricks I use to move out of my comfort zone and strengthen my own style.
Inside this year-long course, you’ll find more than twenty-four projects that can be done at your own pace.
Inside this year-long course, you’ll find more than twenty-four projects that can be done at your own pace. That means we’ll be painting portraits, whimsical animals, girls, imaginary creatures, art journal pages and so much more. We’ll play by creating layered backgrounds and experiment with mixing different art supplies (like watercolors and oils).
In each video I share my honest struggles, mistakes, breakthroughs and favorite ways to paint more freely.
I wanted to create a course that would help you build a library of characters and creatures that you could quickly create and then easily add to in a style that is unique to YOU.
Having fun, learning to let go and not being afraid to cover up my paintings have become essential to my creative process. I’ve fallen in love with mixed media painting and out of all of the painting techniques I’ve ever tried, the one thing I always return to is remembering to have fun with whatever it is I’m creating. This brings joy into the process, which inevitably gets infused into your artwork and always makes anyone who sees it smile.
In this class I share simple techniques to give you the confidence to paint an owl you love.
Whether you adore owls like I do or if you’re just looking to loosen up and let go, this class is open to all skill levels and experiences. We’ll play with painting backgrounds and layers, experiment with lots of different art supplies, and have fun draw and coloring in our sketchbooks.
In Happy Painting, I share a variety of techniques and characters to help you overcome creative blocks and easily begin to develop your own style.
We’ll learn to let go, paint with our fingertips and play with color and layers.
In Wild & Free Painting, I share many playful techniques and characters to help you feel more free in your artwork and find your own style. By the end of class, you’ll have five freedom-inspired paintings and the template to get you started again and again, so you can keep exploring and develop your own artistic voice.
That means we’ll draw and paint whimsical animals, feather-haired girls, imaginary creatures, watercolor portraits, lusciously layered backgrounds and more! I’ll also show you how to create a face in under 10 minutes with just a few supplies, so even if you don’t have a lot of space or time, you can still get creative and play.
In Imperfectly Perfect Painting, I share how I work through what I call ‘the ugly stage’ to help you be more bold in your artwork and develop your own style. By the end of class, you’ll have five super loose and free paintings and the template to get you started again and again, so you can keep exploring and find your own artistic voice.
That means we’ll draw and paint big-eyed characters, primitive portraits, whimsical animals, feather-haired girls, sunshine flowers, inked-up backgrounds and more! I’ll also show you how to paint a lusciously layered face in under 12 minutes with just a few supplies, so even if you don’t have a lot of space or time, you can still get creative and play.
