A commissioned painting offers the opportunity to bring a one-of-a-kind Juliette Crane original into your home—created with your space, colors, and personal story in mind.
Commissions begin with a simple conversation about what you’re drawn to: palette, subject, or a favorite piece by Juliette Crane.
“Protection of Peace”
Dimensions: 36 × 36in
Created for a collector’s living room in Boulder, Colorado, this 36 × 36” painting began with three words: blue, owls, snow.
Through layers of acrylic, oil paintstick, pencil, papers, and pen, those ideas became a luminous, one-of-a-kind painting created specifically for the space and the collector.
Every commission begins with three words. They might include a color, fabric swatch or the title of your favorite piece.
From there, we’ll discuss the size, palette, imagery, and overall feeling you’re drawn to. I’ll then create the painting intuitively, allowing the final work to develop through the process.
Pricing for commissioned paintings is based on canvas size and includes shipping within the continental U.S.
Custom sizes available upon request.
A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your place on the commissions list. The remaining balance is due upon completion.
I accept commissions on canvas measuring 30 × 20” or larger.
If you’d like to explore creating an original painting for your home or collection, I’d love to hear your idea.
Start by filling out the form below and sharing the three words that inspire your piece, along with anything you’d like me to know about your space or vision. I’ll be in touch to discuss timing, size, and next steps.
