Can I commission a custom painting?
Yes! I am excited to open my calendar for custom work and now accept a very limited number of commissions. The current wait is 2 months, there are 4 people on my 2025 schedule. See the price chart and details below.
I especially love creating art that evokes beauty and is a mirror for people to see themselves as their best self—in their most ideal way and inspires calm, connections, and magic.
A 30 x 20-inch minimum size or $2900 purchase minimum is needed to be added to the waitlist.
How do I commission a custom painting?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to be added to the waitlist. The remaining half is to be paid upon completion and approval of the painting.
Generally, clients will suggest a subject from my portfolio, and/or color preference. For example, a client might say they want a 30″ x 40″ painting depicting a woman in peace inspired by their favorite painting from my portfolio. Or perhaps the client has a favorite color palette that is significant to them, which they would like me to interpret into a work of art. Clients may also send photos of themselves or pictures they have taken, which I can use as inspiration for a new painting.

OTHER DETAILS:
What subjects can be commissioned: owls, whimsical animals, imaginary creatures, people in peace, people with wings, people with flower crowns, etc, any subjects similar to her current body of work.
What subjects can not be commissioned: realistic humans, landscapes, portraits in a style different than my own, exact duplicates of past paintings (though I’m happy to rely heavily on them for inspiration)
What Materials Are Used? Acrylic paints, inks, oil paintsticks, spray paint, pencil, and pen on gallery depth stretched canvas.
What Is The Timeline? After the 50% deposit is received, the client is added to the commission wait list. I work on commissions in the order they are received.
Are Commissions Framed? Commission prices don’t include framing. Framing is optional but will come at an additional cost. Please email the studio to discuss your framing options at: info@juliettecrane.com
