…………
I’m spending some time at the beach, so I’ve been inspired to paint and color in vibrant gold, coral and lavender hues (they remind me of sunsets).
I’ve been trying to do new things too… like dancing on the beach.
There’s a beach preserve close to where I’m staying and where no one ever walks. So I go there, double check each direction, then leap and twirl at sunset. I don’t normally do this sort of thing. Don’t get me wrong, I do love to dance (to 80’s music at weddings or out at a concert). But alone, at the beach? That is way out of my comfort zone.
But, I have to say, it’s been so incredibly free-ing to beach dance. Each time, I feel like a layer of my fear and uncomfortable-ness gets peeled away.
That’s why I love my new Whimsical Animals Coloring Book so much too… it just makes me happy to see all of these adorable little characters all together in one book.
I am having such fun coloring in all of these little creatures, and I have to say, it’s been so relaxing to just sit and color. And I love adding little dots and doodles. It’s so easy to create your own beautiful artwork! This coloring book is perfect for all ages too – adults and children alike.
The Whimsical Animals Coloring Book features 34 original drawings printed on one side of the page, so it’s easy for you to share, frame and hang your artwork.

Here’s a little of what students are saying…
“Sometimes I get stuck and often I wonder how I can be sure to paint something really ugly and awkward. But that’s something I’ve learned from you: to let go, LET IT BE, to relax and to be patient.” – Anja Nowack
“I learn best when I see you paint while you give information as to why your painting is working or is in need of correction. The way you work through your corrections gives me insight into my own issues and encourages me to keep going. Your videos are fun, light, colorful and always a pleasure to watch. Because of you, I enjoy painting and will try anything.” – Peggy Mcdevitt
“Starting was a big milestone for me but once I did it became my saviour! I’d say that if anyone out there is looking for an online class that gets you just ‘doing’ instead of ‘thinking’ this is the one for you. At last I’ve found the style of art that I absolutely love and even though I can’t draw for peanuts I’ve been happy with the pieces that I’ve created – thanks to the amazing guidance of Juliette who has the most lovely teaching style.” – Stephanie Banks
“I am 64 and have always wanted to draw and paint. You show us all of the phases of the piece – the good, the bad, the ugly, and the finished wonderful face. Then we see the finished piece. Now when I struggle to get to the end of the process, I know that it’s okay to take a while to get there.” – Louise “Beth” Rudolph
