Left: Everything Is In Line. (9×12 on bristol paper).
Right: Take A Chance. (9×12 on bristol paper).
I’ve been busy creating stabilo pencil sketches for my upcoming storybook. But I soon realized the book can’t just be all in black and white. Of course, it must have color!
So, I began a few new paintings to go with the sketches.
These new paintings were completely different characters for me (a spin off from my flower girl paintings). I could see stories in their eyes.
But I couldn’t see them in my upcoming storybook.
Top Left: It Is Going To Be Okay. (9×12 on bristol paper).
Top Right: The Owl Lady. (9×12 on bristol paper).
Instead, I knew they had to be characters in my Snooter novel.
Now I’ve been working on this Snooter novel on and off for years. After getting back into painting again, I realized the novel needed artwork to go along with the stories. And these new paintings are just the thing.
If you’d like to see how these paintings continue, I’ll be posting more over on my instagram, facebook and google+
I can’t wait to share more of this Snooter book and my upcoming storybook with you soon!
