Happy June!
I’m writing today from my studio balcony whereI’ve been spending so much time painting a few larger pieces! It’s such a fun experience to paint barefoot outside and return to that place of blissful creativity and completely reminds me of being a little girl.
When I was little, I used to lay out all of these sheets of paper and drip watercolors all over them. I loved to watch the colors blend and merge. I especially loved seeing the imperfections that happened once the painting dried.
I hope you feel that magic when you see them too!
I know if I’m longing for simpler things, some of you must be too. What are you longing to create more space for in your life?
I also want to share that as I was creating my daily watercolor paintings a few days ago, as soon as I set my paintbrush down in the grass, a monarch landed on my sketchbook!
Above is one of the watercolors we create in class. You can watch more sneak peeks and learn more about the Portrait Painting Masterclass right here .
As I’ve welcomed everyone into my Portrait Painting Masterclass over the past few days, it’s all making me so excited to see the gorgeous artwork you’ll create. It’s been amazing to watch how the community we’ve built has flourished over the years. And I cannot wait to experience where it all goes next.
Thank you for all of your amazing kindness and support. It feels so good to be on this creative journey with you.
If you’ve been wondering about my new Portrait Painting Masterclass , this is just a gentle reminder that the limited spaces are almost half-filled.
