Return To ShopMy process is all very intuitive and spontaneous, never planned.
The background layers are always about getting out my emotions. I splatter inks, fingerpaint and just let the colors merge together.
This process is all about feeling free and really expressing myself.
Then I am ready to calmly add my character.
I draw my initial outline for the body, face and eyes and then color it all in with paint and inks.
Always, these initial outlines change as I add more and more layers. But they give me someplace to begin, so that my imagination can wander.
