I hope you enjoy this video… it’s a snip-it from one of the painting projects I share in Imperfectly Perfect Painting – A Mini Course. If you’ve already registered, I’ve just posted all five painting projects (a little early in case you have a chance to get to them this weekend). You can join us here.
In Imperfectly Perfect Painting, I share many playful techniques and characters to help you let go and find your own style. By the end of class, you’ll have five super loose and free paintings and the template to get you started again and again, so you can keep exploring and develop your own artistic voice.
That means we’ll draw and paint big-eyed characters, whimsical animals, feather-haired girls, lusciously layered backgrounds and more! I’ll also show you how to create a portrait in under 12 minutes with just a few supplies, so even if you don’t have a lot of space or time, you can still get creative and play.
This is the perfect class to do with kids or for those looking to loosen up and feel more relaxed in your art.
3 Month Payment Plans are also available (for all of my classes).
This project is done on bristol paper with layers of watercolors, chalk, charcoal and acrylic paints. I just love the way the watercolors blend and merge with the colored chalk. It’s so much fun. And, there’s no right or wrong way.
Imperfectly Perfect Painting is all about learning to let go so you feel more light, gentle and free with your artwork.
I’ve fallen in love with mixed media painting and out of all of the painting techniques I’ve ever tried, the one thing I always return to is remembering to have fun whenever I create. This brings joy and happiness into the process, which inevitably gets infused into your artwork and always makes anyone who sees it smile.
If you’d like to paint together, there’s a fabulous group already gathered for Imperfectly Perfect Painting… feel free to join us and sign up here.
And if you know someone who has been looking to reignite their creative spark, feel free to share this video with them (you can use the share buttons below).
Thank you, as always, for all of your love and support! Have a phenomenal weekend!
