Hello and Welcome!

I’ve been getting so many questions about which class to take next, so here’s a bit more info about each of my online courses and The School of Happy Painting Membership:

🎨 Portrait Painting Masterclass – This is my newest, in-depth online course. It’s the perfect deep dive into developing your own style and  focuses on painting women’s eyes and faces. 

The Portrait Painting Masterclass is a mix and balance of both watercolor and mixed media. The goal is for you to paint. The lessons are intentionally succinct, building upon the techniques, so you can take any of the watercolor paintings and use them as a stepping stone for your mixed media paintings.

It has 21 watercolor paintings (created with watercolors and water-soluble pencil in 10 min or less), and 11 mixed media paintings (created mostly with high flow acrylics, water-soluble pencil, inks, paint pen in 1 hour or less), plus background paintings, where I demonstrate techniques for painting first layers.

🎨 Happy Painting – Mini Course – If you’re looking to dip your toes into mixed media, this class has five instant-access projects and is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to get creative and play with various techniques and mediums.

This was the 1st course I’d taken and it was wonderful. It immediately pulled me out of the slump I was in and gave me permission to just have fun and explore my materials. I watched each lesson over and over and sometimes I would just play them in the background while I was creating because Juliette’s voice was so reassuring. Before I knew it I had so much confidence in my new work and I was loving the freedom to create without having a plan. It was a complete eye opener to make art this way. I think so many people are scared they can’t make art and we really can! We just needed someone like Juliette to help us find the way!

🎨 Watercolor Joy Mini Course – This class is perfect if you’ve been wanting to paint, but feel like you don’t have a lot of time. You only need a pencil and watercolors to get started… there’s six, instant-access projects and it’s all about loosening up and letting go.

🎨 The School Of Happy Painting Membership – The membership offers online access to seven of my classes—a library of video and text lessons and a private community.

Serendipity 1 – Develop Your Style is all about developing your own unique style. There’s twenty-five in depth projects, so there’s a lot of content and the focus is on helping you develop a cohesive body of work that’s in your own recognizable style, so with every project I share lots of new techniques and ways to find your voice and style along with my own inspirations for each project and how they helped me evolve that painting.

Faces Mixed Media Portraits has thirteen projects and is perfect if you just want to dip your toes into one of my classes and learn to paint mixed media faces in different styles, but don’t have a lot of time.

Enchanted – Soulful Eyes and Faces is the most comprehensive of all of my online courses with over thirty mixed media projects and bonuses, some in depth projects and some you can do in under fifteen minutes. You’ll learn ALL of my favorite supplies and colors along with the techniques I use to create eyes, faces and whimsical characters in every painting. Bliss Mixed Media Painting class has the most painting projects, with over 45 different projects and many paintings you can do in under fifteen minutes with just a few supplies. The focus in this class is to explore a lot of different techniques and styles, especially ways to be loose in your sketchbook and art journal. If you need prompts to get started and loosen up, this is the perfect class.

Whimsical Animals is perfect if you’ve been wanting to take an art class. It’s a super fun place to start. You’ll learn to paint owls, rabbits, bears, lions and so much more.

I’ll also share many projects you can do in under fifteen minutes with just a few supplies, so even if you never have enough time or space, you can still get creative and paint.
