When the lovely Theresa Andreas-O’leary nominated me to be part of the “3-in-5 challenge,” it got me looking through my portfolio and seeing just how my artwork has evolved over the years. I love to share my process from start to finish in my online classes because I find it so deceiving to just look at a finished painting, not knowing all of the time,... Continue reading
“What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the print I have read in my life.” -Walt Whitman ………… It has been such a gorgeous Fall here in Wisconsin. And I just cannot get over all of the color inspiration. I’ve also been seeing so many owls (and hearing them too). One evening, we had a bonfire in... Continue reading
Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’! -Audrey Hepburn ……… My first blog was titled Inspired By The Little Things… and it is a notion I am really returning to these days. I used to write weekly posts, sharing my inspirations. Lately, I’ve really been missing those, so I thought I’d bring them back. This week I’m sharing my inspirations from our recent... “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!” -Audrey Hepburn ………. I love to take photo walks, especially through places I have never been. I’ve gotten in the habit of taking myself on field trips where I get out of the studio and go someplace new and explore. Snapping photos in those places is so inspiring and really keeps me looking and being inspired... Continue reading
Oooh! We spent 2 years in Canada (back in Oz now) and this just brought me right back to how much I adored the drama of Fall. Oh and the barns too! Oh the barns.
Having just returned from a trip to Michigan, I feel so lucky to have had a chance to experience a little part of a true fall, something we are lacking here in So Cal and which I truly miss. Lovely!!
That tree and that leaf are gorgeous! Such wonderful fall inspiration colors! Wish i was there to see it with my own eyes. Thanks for making me smile along with you! Have a lovely merry happy day and love to you!
I love rocks upon rocks! Is that a recent thing, because I feel like I'm seeing them everywhere. Except for here in Florida. We don't have rocky beaches.
Ahh, I love finding stacked rocks. They're everywhere in Utah. Someone said they are meant to mark trails but I think they are much more mysterious than that. Here is something you will like: http://www.teamsandtastic.com/RockStacking/
