“What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the print I have read in my life.” -Walt Whitman

It has been such a gorgeous Fall here in Wisconsin. And I just cannot get over all of the color inspiration.
I’ve also been seeing so many owls (and hearing them too). One evening, we had a bonfire in our backyard. And, just as we sat down at dusk, an owl flew up onto a telephone pole above out heads.
The owl has long been a symbol of power, mystery and storytelling for me.
So anytime I see or hear one, I am reminded to tell my unique story… the story that only I can tell.
Here are a few of my favorite photos from my Autumn walks…
I just love taking photo walks because it reminds me to stay in the moment and to really LOOK at my surroundings.
In that way, I remember to slow down. And then I find all sorts of color combinations, patterns and little things that light me up and keep me inspired.
There was even a funny little insect the other day that had the most beautiful gold and copper art deco pattern on its back.
It’s all about staying inspired by the little things. I hope you enjoy a phenomenal weekend!
