I’ve been working on all sorts of new paintings at once in my studio. This really helps me stay in the flow!

My recent paintings all begin with color inspiration from my garden. Whether it’s the golden centers of daisies, the hot pink peonies, or the bluest sky, my work begins and ends with color.

I keep adding layers until they transform into a radiance that reminds me of flower petals after the rain—a moment of calm that guides my heart to peace. It’s uplifting to gather inspiration from nature and see where it leads me in my paintings.

Needless to say, I have a lot of new work going on with loads of color and inspiration… watch this video sneak peek:

If you missed my last note, I’m thrilled to announce that my May 2025 creative retreat in France is NOW OPEN for booking.

No art experience is necessary!! I’ll be sharing all of my favorite ways to have fun with my art and use creativity and color to loosen up and let go. It’s going to be a very special trip.

I’ll be available for one-to-one feedback, on-location sketching sessions, mixed media demonstrations, and two art trips to stunning locations. You’ll learn to paint more loosely, silence your inner critic, and look at the world around you with childlike curiosity. I’ve developed a process to let the art supplies do the work, so we’ll always come back to having fun with our paintings.
