I’m putting the finishing touches on a huge commission for Studio E Gallery and looking back at some of my favorite paintings.
Painting has always been healing for me. And I know that when I share my work, it can extend that beauty and healing to you, too.
These pieces are part of an ongoing collection exploring soul, space, and light.
One of my favorites is Emissary Of Love.
Creating it pushed me to connect more deeply with my heart and the love, joy, and curiosity I felt as a child, rather than looking outside myself for what I should do.
As I painted this piece, I remembered what I loved most as a child: taking my art supplies outside into the backyard, laying them all out on a blanket in the grass, and just playing with color.
It’s a memory I come back to with every painting. It’s the reason I’ve always used so much color in my work.
