i’m taking part in the stitched postcard swap. that means someone out there should be getting a postcard from me very soon (and i don’t want to spoil the surprise just yet, so i’ll have to wait a bit before i share my creation with you!). but look at the lovely surprise i found in my mailbox!
it was so lovingly wrapped. and when i saw that sweet gift tag, i got so excited! because i just adore pilgrim of the moon creations! judit’s artwork is so peaceful. it inspires me to gently brush everything else aside and take a moment to breathe.
it’s so perfect to have my postcard coming from judit, because she is such a big inspiration to me. she left a comment on my blog once, telling me to “relax.” that comment went straight into my kindness folder and i think of it often. because i tend to take on way too much at once (or think i need to do it all right now). and reading her comment inspired me to do exactly what her paintings do-stop and
BREATHE.

and now this postcard not only carries with it those past inspirations from judit, but i also see it as a symbol of new life for our home. we’ve been having a lot of changes going on over here, and judit wrote the sweetest, most thoughtful note inside this card. it’s exactly what i want for our home right now–happiness, health, understanding, creativity, prosperity, and tons of love!
