This painting is all about the freedom I feel whenever I’m in nature, especially in my garden in summertime – we have the most gorgeous lilies and cosmos in bloom right now. The monarch’s are everywhere and it completely awakens a sense of joy, and so often I wish I could also have wings.

My latest paintings represent freedom and femininity to me. They seem to be bringing out more and more of that in me too.

I hope this painting brings a bit of that light and magic to your day.
