My latest paintings represent freedom and femininity to me.

This painting is all about the magic and wonder I feel whenever I’m in nature, especially in the pine woods that surrounds our house. They’re pure magic!

When we first moved in, there weren’t any paths through the woods. Now, little by little, we’ve created the paths so we can go out and walk in the woods with coffee in the mornings.

So often I come upon deer and rabbits. We’ve even had a few fox and coyote. I often imagine that there’s fairies living among the wild flowers. It all completely awakens my childlike sense of beauty.

I’m not certain if she’s a woodland princess or a queen, but she’s meant to remind you of the magic and love hidden just beyond that will soon be revealed at the perfect time.

This is an original 20″ x 30″ mixed media painting on canvas by artist, Juliette Crane.

The sides are 2″ deep, so the painting continues over the edges and it is ready to hang with or without frame.

Each painting is created and shipped out of Madison, Wisconsin.

All of my originals are protected with a matte, archival finish. Signed, titled and dated on the back.
