one of my favorite colors to paint with is a scarlet red. the other day, i’d noticed a thick bit of paint had accumulated on my palette, so i went ahead and peeled it off. from underneath, it all had this lovely smooth sheen like melted plastic. i admire the way the colors all meld together. ………………………………. it’s been so lovely to see which paintings...
