“Autumn Memory”
We celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary. It’s hard to imagine we’ve known each other since being friends and skipping out to go to the Milwaukee Art Museum together in high school. We got married up in Door County, Wisconsin on Eagle Terrace – a beautiful rock outcropping, where 100 friends and family members made it down the stone staircase to gather in chairs overlooking the bluest water.
This painting gets its name and color palette from the changing seasons at the end of September. That moment when the leaves begin to turn all colors and the wind blows through your hair.
