Lately, I’ve been into painting character’s with closed eyes.
It always adds an element of peace and dreaming.
For this girl, I had so much fun layering tissue papers, oil paint sticks and acrylics.
But it wasn’t until I really let loose with a giant, black india ink splatter that she fell into place.
Splattering paint, especially black ink, always reminds me to be bold and have fun while I paint. And it allows for some pretty amazing, beautiful mistakes.

All of her layers, led me to finding her story and title…
With all of her heart, she embodies light, knowing the possibilities that arise in SENDING STRENGTH.
