I am so crazy excited for my new online course BLISS – Mixed Media On Location where we’ll be painting all sorts of whimsical characters and backgrounds together!

This class has been on my mind for some time as I’ve been playing with new art supplies and techniques, painting portraits and gathering inspirations on location.
At the start of this year, I’d been feeling like my paintings were so overworked and took so many layers to complete, that I didn’t even want to paint anymore.
So I started creating in a cheap, blank journal with just a few art supplies- a mini watercolor set, 3 water soluble oil pastels and a stabillo pencil. That was always do-able. It allowed me to get out of my head and just grab these few things and create, anytime… even if it was just one painting in 5 or 10 minutes.
In BLISS, I’m sharing these effortless paintings that got me to LOVE painting again along with other paintings inspired by three locations: New York City, Seaside Beach Florida and Austin Texas.
My hope for you in this course is that these paintings and inspirations on location give you many places to easily and quickly begin, so you can get over creative blocks, have fun and stay motivated to paint in a style that is unique to YOU.
That means we’ll play with watercolors, paint portraits, finger-paint, art journal, add words, create on book pages and paper and layer luscious backgrounds.
The classroom will remain open to you for two years when you register now, so if you’d like to get the most out of this class, be sure to register early.
