i just can’t stop myself from taking photos of doorways!
i’m noticing beautiful doors everywhere! i just love the way each doorway is unique – whether it’s the door itself or what’s surrounding it – it’s such a wonderful prelude to what lies on the other side.
here are some of my recent favorites. i just love the light and airy color combinations! each one seems to have its own story!

maybe it’s the new year or that so many exciting things are opening up for everyone in my newest e-course, HOW TO PAINT A GIRL (so excited class starts today!), but i keep hearing so many people say how they’re really letting doors open for them.
so that’s my wish for you…may every door you need to walk through, open for you too!
what doors have been opening for you?

I love watching the doors YOU enter, and fearlessly venture through! I have been fortunate to have found some very creative entrances and my latest has been a new magazine I never new of….Somerset Studio. ♥Debi

En ce qui me concerne avoir une très belles porte est important… Elle est l'ouverture de votre maison, de votre coeur…
Gros bisous et merci pour l'ensemble de ces belles photos.

That’s chic! I love that first photo. It’s very interesting. The wood beaded curtain blended well with the windowed door. They maintained the house’s privacy and yet, the owners could still enjoy the view from outside. Nice. Those doors look great. Enjoy your painting class and I sure hope more doors will be open for you too!
