She Sings Like The Flowers. (SOLD). Original paintings available here in my shop. This is also one of the painting projects in my online class PAINTING FOR THE HEART – A Mini Course
……….
I’m so excited for this new mini course to begin. Thank you for all of kind words about it already!
To celebrate, I’m opening registration tomorrow for PAINTING FOR THE HEART – A Mini Course with a very special EARLY BIRD SALE (with limited spaces).
Sign up for my newsletter if you’d like a little reminder in your inbox.
Registration Opens at 6AM EST TOMORROW (August 14, 2015).
Class begins in September… I cannot wait to share these new mixed media painting projects that will help you overcome perfectionism, loosen up and develop your own unique style in a mini course! We’ll be painting on canvas, cardboard and paper too, so there will be many new techniques, characters, and styles to try.
In the meantime, here is a new sketchbook painting I’ve been playing with…
For this piece, I had so much fun painting on bristol paper in my sketchbook.
I love combing watercolors, pencil, water-soluble oil pastels and crayons on paper. I find creating each morning in my sketchbook so freeing, even if it’s a quick piece like this using just a few supplies. It keeps me creative, even when things get busy.
When I completed the character, I felt like she was missing something. So I grabbed my calligraphy ink and bamboo writing stick and scribbled the first words that came to mind. Hence, she is called Between You & I.
See you tomorrow when registration opens for PAINTING FOR THE HEART – A Mini Course!
xo,

Thea’s sister knew what they were having so she painted her heart pink! She then went up on stage and revealed what they would be having to them and their family and friends!
