The new “Flower Girl” Collection has just been released – original paintings inspired by the intensely blue skies of autumn, but also, as I continued this series, I saw more and more that each piece is also deeply infused by my love of nature and the calm I feel whenever I go outside, lay in the sunshine or plant flowers in my garden.
There are twelve paintings in this series (three 11 x 14″ and five 9 x 12″ originals, and four prints).
Visit the shop for prints + originals here.
It’s so lovely to see them all framed together…
These paintings were created with oils, acrylics, inks, pen, pencil and acrylics. In some, I added layers of my favorite papers- vintage maps, lokta papers, origami papers and tissue.
Each original painting is created on smooth bristol paper, then float mounted using archival materials in a 1.5 inch deep, wooden frame and ready to hang (frames are available in a thick, gold leaf frame or a slim white or black frame).
See all original paintings here.
I hope you enjoy them!
Happy painting!
