With all of this cold and snow in Wisconsin, we’ve started our holiday traditions early… watching A Charlie Brown Christmas while decorating the tree. There’s just something so warming about sitting around the sparkling lights. It encourages me to slow down and be still.
I thought I’d share all of this gratitude and bliss with you too with a 2 for 1 Sale… just in time for the holidays.
I’m offering a 2 for 1 Sale on all of my online classes until Sunday.
Click here to Register. Enter code 2for1 at checkout (must be used on the same class).
This would be a lovely gift for anyone you know who has been longing to be more creative & connect to a positive & encouraging community from around the world.
Painting with friends is one of my favorite things to do and always inspires me in new directions. All of our chatting while creating keeps things light, so I stop thinking about what I’m painting and just have fun.
Once you register, you’ll receive an additional email with a code for a free registration for the same class. We’re sending these additional emails out manually, the old-fashioned way, so please be patient & allow 48 hours.
This painting is the December Project in my online class Serendipity 2 – A New Year In Mixed Media.
This lion painting is one of my favorite paintings that I’ve ever created because, I think, it had the most evolutions of anything I’ve ever created before (and if you know my artwork, you understand that says a lot).
I almost didn’t include this painting as a class project. The entire piece from start to finish is SO long, but I really feel it’s important for you to see just how difficult it is for me to paint sometimes… especially when I am trying and trying to get to a finished piece that matches what I feel inside.
As you will see in this video preview, there were many stages in this painting that I could have just stopped. But I was never happy with the piece until the very end… so it got covered and uncovered again and again.
I’ll look for you in the comments… I hope it inspires you!
Ps. All preordered, signed books are now in the mail… each with their own unique little drawing. Thank you to everyone who ordered a signed copy!
Books are now available HERE (and they’ll ship right away so you can get them for the holidays). My intention was to create a beautiful book that would help you stay positive and inspired.
If you enjoy the book (which I SO hope you do), I kindly ask if you could leave a review of it on Amazon. The book was already listed as #1 in Acrylic Painting (which is pretty amazing) and I’d be delighted if you could help support the book and its longevity… these good reviews really help in big ways.
