In this 12 Week workshop, you’ll learn to paint owls, rabbits, foxes, bears, lions and so much more.
I wanted to create a course that would help you build a library of characters and creatures that you could quickly create and then easily add to in a style that is unique to YOU.
We’ll also play with painting backgrounds and layering, experiment with lots of different art supplies, loosen up with drawing and coloring in our sketchbooks and have fun bringing all of these animals to life. It’s all about giving you a place to begin, so your imagination can wander.
By the end of class, you will know how to paint any animal, so you can easily get started and have the techniques to find your own style and paint with more whimsy.
For years, I stopped painting. All of my artwork ended up in the basement or trash. Then I lost my job. To heal my spirit, I went back to what I loved most as a child – taking my art supplies into the backyard and creating.
Now I’ve fallen in love with mixed media painting and out of all of the painting techniques I’ve ever tried, the one thing I always return to is remembering to have fun. This brings joy into the process, which inevitably gets infused into your artwork and always makes anyone who sees it smile.
In the videos, I talk you through my painting process, letting you know when I’ve made a mistake or when I’m not liking my painting and how I work through it, so you can be more free.
There’s also two year access to the classroom and forever access to our private, supportive community to be sure there is plenty of time to explore, connect and paint.

I’ve had so much fun re-connecting with my painterly side! I can really see that I’ve had improvement from standing in front of the blank canvas every day. I love the results of trying to be more free and relaxed in my style. I will say that I’m getting to feel like I’m doing the same thing on each painting…even though they aren’t the same at all. Keeping my style as loose as I can get it is what I want most out of your class, and I definitely feel that I’ve improved in that area. – Gail Witt
Juliette’s classes are soul-filling! I WISH I could express how you have changed my vision and freed my mind. -Dana Strickland
We love how you change your mind and give us the freedom to do the same! Plus, we get to see lots of works all in one which gives technique while allowing for courage and freedom at times of possible frustration! Thanks! -Amy Faldet
